Some cats may adjust to Weruva Hinoki & Green Tea Litter without issue, and some cats will need some time. If you believe your cat may need some time, sprinkle as little as a thin layer atop your current litter or replace as much as a third of your current litter. Once your cat begins to use the litter, you can gradually increase the amount of Weruva litter. And when you feel the time is right, empty the litter box completely and refill with Weruva only.
Weruva is a natural pet food inspired by and named after three rescued cats, Webster, Rudi, and Vanessa. They gather the best ingredients from around the world and formulate some fantastic recipes that cats and dogs will love.
Their motto is simple: Feed the diet of the carnivore, and the health will fall into place. And with that in mind, Weruva cat & dog food keeps the carbohydrates low and the proteins lean. Known as “people food for pets,” Weruva dog & cat food uses ingredients that are also used for people products, and all the food is made in a human food facility according to international human food standards. They use a process that boasts a global stamp of approval, and their rigorous quality control includes multiple inspections and testing.
It gets even better—as avid supporters of the rescue and adoption of homeless animals, a portion of all proceeds are donated to saving the lives of healthy and treatable animals in shelters, so you can feel good about your purchase contributing to a better world for pets & animals.
Instructions
Start with 2-4 inches of litter in the box. We recommend filling on the higher side for multi-cat households. Scoop at least once a day, and the more cats using the box, the more frequently we recommend scooping. After removing waste, refill the litter box as necessary to maintain the 2-4 inch level. Maintaining levels helps with clumping and scooping.
Additional Instructions
- Only dispose of used cat litter in trash. Do not flush, bury or dispose of it outdoors, in gutters or storm drains to avoid environmental contamination.
- Not for internal use. Not meant for use as compost or as a traction aid.
- Store in a cool, dry place. Product filled by weight; some settling may occur.
Precautions
Always wash your hands thoroughly after handling used cat litter, as cat feces may contain Toxoplasma gondii—a parasite that can cause toxoplasmosis. Pregnant or nursing women, as well as children and anyone with a weakened immune system, should avoid handling used cat litter. Always handle litter in a ventilated area to avoid inhalation. Keep contents and packaging out of reach of children and pets. Seek medical help in case of accidental ingestion.
